Questions and Answers with A.J. Natter
Where are you originally from?
I was born in raised in Milton, Wisconsin (about 30 minutes south of Madison). I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and then worked professionally in Minneapolis for 5 years before recently moving to Lincoln.
Tell us about your family:
Most of my family still resides across Southern Wisconsin and the Twin Cities. I’m fortunate to get back to visit frequently.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Exploring new restaurants, staying physically active, and keeping up-to-date with the latest technology are some of my favorite pastimes. In 2020, I built my first computer and have since been constantly expanding my knowledge in this area.
What is your favorite movie or TV show?
I admittedly watch too many shows to have a favorite. Though it’s hard to resist an episode of Curb your Enthusiasm or The Office from time-to-time.
What has been your favorite and/or most memorable vacation?
Our whole family took a trip to Alaska a number of years ago. We traveled across the Kenai Peninsula and spent many of the days fishing for salmon and halibut. It was an amazing trip, and I highly recommend it.
How did you become interested in the investment/financial planning profession?
During my college studies and early career, I found myself naturally drawn to the financial planning profession and the distinct circumstances of each client. Eager to acquire knowledge and help others, I embarked on the journey to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, which has greatly enriched my expertise. I am thrilled to bring my passion and skills to Pittenger & Anderson and work alongside the brilliant minds on the team.
If you could do anything else for a living what would it be?
I would love to be able to travel the country to experience new food and write reviews.
