On September 12th, for the fifth year in a row, Pittenger & Anderson was named to the CNBC FA 100 list of top financial advisory firms in the U.S for the last 12 months. At #11 for 2023, we managed to move up two spots from last year’s ranking.
As per the CNBC website:
The CNBC FA 100 celebrates the advisory firms that top the list when it comes to offering a comprehensive planning and financial service that helps clients navigate through their complex financial lives.
The CNBC rankings are based on data culled from thousands of advisory firms and provided by AccuPoint Solutions. Factors included in the rankings were Advisory firm’s regulatory/compliance record, years in business, number of certified financial planners, number of employees, number of investment advisors registered with the firm, ratio of advisors to total number of employees, total assets under management, percentage of discretionary assets under management, total accounts managed, number of states where the RIA is registered, and the country of domicile. Each section was weighted according to specific criteria created by CNBC and AccuPoint. (This analysis started with an initial list of 40,646 RIA firms!)
(Here are details on the methodology used by CNBC and AccuPoint Solutions).
In a world where accolades can be purchased through advertisement dollars and pay-to-play schemes, it’s humbling to be acknowledged through an objective and transparent process. (P&A had no influence on the criteria or the rankings.)
We always strive for excellence and it’s an honor to be ranked on this list, but we continue to operate the way we do whether we’re ranked or not. The real testament is to our clients, without whom our business wouldn’t exist. We work hard every day to earn your loyalty and we thank you for placing your trust in us. Maintaining our independence allows us to fulfill the founding principle of our firm: Always put our clients’ best interests first.
Thank you for being on this journey with us. As always, if you’d like help with a financial decision you’re facing, please reach out. We look forward to our next conversation with you.
