Tell us about yourself:
My name is Gunner, but my family randomly calls me Gunny, Gun Gun and other names which I don’t pay any attention to.
I am a pure-bred Yellow Labrador Retriever. I was born on January 30th, 2024, and am still just a puppy! Mom and dad say I have a LOT of learning to do but I feel like I am pretty smart already.
Where are you originally from?
My family adopted me from Culbertson, Nebraska on Easter weekend. They were deciding between either my sweet sister or myself and I won them over with my handsome looks and spunky personality. HA, joke’s on them!
What are some of your hobbies?
My main hobby right now is barking! I love it so much that I do it ALL the time. My mom and dad do not enjoy it and get mad at me, but I just ignore them. I also really like going outside and tearing up the grass. I don’t understand why that isn’t allowed but mom tells me not to do it every single time I go outside. My hunter instincts have been kicking in so I’m finding/eating anything that is left on the floor, socks/toys/shoes – they are all mine!
Favorite perch?
When I’m not in my kennel, you can find me on a living room couch. Why would I want to lay on the hard floor, when I have those soft couches that my mom and dad obviously bought just for me! I also like to just lay in the grass in my backyard while I chew my toys.
Favorite vacation spot?
Since I am still a young puppy, I haven’t gone to many places, but mom and dad promised me a trip to Colorado this fall if I pass my training class!
What are your human-like tendencies?
Did I mention sitting on the couches whenever I can? I’ve heard people say that I act like a toddler. I’m not sure what that is but they must have a lot of fun!
