My name is Bella! I’m a 7-year-old Cavapoo (a mix between King Charles Cavalier and Poodle). I’m “half city – half country”, – I enjoy a walk on a paved path or a nature hike, as long as my people are nearby, I’m good! When I was a baby (puppy) in training, I stayed with Aunt Sarah over the summer so every time I’m reunited with her, I get so excited that I pee a little bit. My best friend, Jigs – a King Charles Cavalier, lives with Aunt Sarah full-time, so I’m so happy when we get to re-connect. Here is a picture of Jigs and I on our old couch.
Our family moved to an acreage outside of Lincoln about four years ago, and I’ve embraced the change that country life brings. Ticks are my biggest nemesis, along with a Rooster named Rico.
Some of my favorite things include breakfast, lunch, dinner, greenies, or any form of snack or crumb you happen to drop. Socks & undergarments in various hampers are also a favorite. I’m especially good at opening trash cans with lids as well. I have a favorite chair that allows me to look out our front door or into the backyard.
My door opens to a fenced backyard that allows me to go out whenever I want, this comes in very handy to bark at any of the wildlife I spot passing through the yard. Turkey vultures get me really riled up, and I take a stand and let them know I’m nearby anytime I see one fly by. My dream is to someday catch a rabbit or Turkey. I’m not very fast and my hair gets in my eyes if I haven’t had a recent haircut, so catching one would be lucky. My eyebrows grow especially fast! Depending on my hair stylist’s approach I can look like a completely different dog after a haircut. Here are some of my most memorable looks:
They kept calling me Darth Vader after this haircut. I’m pretty sure they were making fun of me, and I wasn’t happy about it.
This picture is more the look I was going for and prefer!
I’m a very patient dog, I love my humans and really cater to those who feed me. Audrey lets her daughter, Carissa, feed me as she really wants me to sleep in her room. I prefer to sleep close to my favorite people, and Cory’s legs always make me feel safe and secure. I’m very sociable, so I don’t mind being carried around like a baby or having different outfits, or costumes. If I have a view or a lap to crawl into for a cuddle, I’m happy!
I hope you’ve enjoyed your time with me! Stay tuned for more of my friends in our upcoming Pets of P&A posts!
