I’ve always been curious by nature and have enjoyed learning how things work, which made finance a natural fit for me. My interest in investing began during college through experiences working at a bank and interning with Charles Schwab. At the same time, playing baseball as a catcher taught me lessons that have stayed with me throughout my career: preparation matters, details matter, and success is rarely achieved alone. I graduated from the University of Nebraska–Omaha in 2023 and joined P&A shortly after.
Today, my work at P&A centers on investing. I manage portfolios, conduct investment research, and evaluate opportunities across the markets. I enjoy digging into the details, understanding what is driving an investment, and turning that research into decisions that can benefit our clients. I’m also pursuing my CFA charter as I continue to expand my knowledge and grow as an investment professional.
What I enjoy most about this career is that there is never a finish line. The markets are constantly changing, new opportunities are always emerging, and there is always something new to learn. I enjoy the challenge of taking complex information, putting it into perspective, and helping clients make thoughtful decisions about their financial futures.
I also believe that being part of a community means giving back to it. I serve as a Director at The Rock Lutheran Church and on the Junior Achievement Young Professionals Board. Both have given me opportunities to invest my time in people and causes that are important to me.
Outside of P&A, most of my time is spent with my wife, Natalie, and our son, Rhett. We live in Seward with our Havapoo, Maple, who is fully convinced the world revolves around her. When I have some free time, you’ll usually find me reading, listening to a podcast, or looking for somewhere new to travel. And if I weren’t working in finance, I’d probably be trying to find a way into the cockpit of a commercial airliner.
